EROAD Demonstrates Technology Leadership at Record-Breaking 10th Annual Fleet Day, Announces Global Partnerships and Product Innovation
AUCKLAND, New Zealand – [8 August 2025] - EROAD (NZX: ERD, ASX: ERD), a global leader in connected fleet management, compliance, and safety solutions, reinforced its technology leadership and international growth momentum at its record-setting 10th Annual Fleet Day. With more than 1,400 industry leaders in attendance - a more than sevenfold increase since inception - Fleet Day has established itself as Australasia’s largest and most influential fleet management forum.
“EROAD Fleet Day is not just a conference, it’s a platform for uniting industry, driving innovation, and shaping the future of safe, sustainable, and profitable transport,” said Mark Heine, co-CEO, EROAD. “The incredible growth of this event mirrors our own trajectory as an organisation. With a robust pipeline of global partnerships and product innovation, EROAD is driving enduring value for customers and investors alike.”
Now the essential industry event, Fleet Day drew attendees to Hamilton to experience EROAD’s latest technological innovations, hear insights from high-profile leaders like ex-All Black captain Sam Cane and rally champion Hayden Paddon, and see first-hand why EROAD remains the partner of choice for data-driven fleet optimisation.
Accelerating Customer Value Through Strategic Global Partnerships
At Fleet Day, EROAD announced a slate of new and expanded global partnerships, further strengthening its integrated ecosystem and addressing the industry-wide demand for seamless data flow between systems. By aligning with best-in-class providers rather than building every solution in-house, EROAD delivers unmatched customer choice and rapid innovation.
“EROAD isn’t just keeping up, we’re setting the pace. Our vision is clear: to build a platform that makes compliance automatic, safety intelligent, and operational performance undeniable,” said David Kenneson, co-CEO, EROAD. “As we continue to expand our ecosystem by partnering with global leaders instead of developing everything internally, we accelerate innovation and unlock rapid benefits for our customers and solve real problems at scale.”
EROAD unveiled expansions to its longstanding partnerships with international leaders HERE Technologies and Geotab. For the Australia and New Zealand markets, EROAD and HERE Technologies have jointly launched a vehicle-aware navigation app tailored for professional fleets, featuring advanced turn-by-turn guidance, innovative safety features, and bridge strike avoidance for high-profile vehicles.
EROAD also announced new capabilities in its Geotab-powered Etrack Locate solution, including state-of-charge and battery health monitoring for EV fleets, automated eRUC, and driver login features. Geotab’s heavy vehicle solution will soon launch in Australia, supporting local regulatory compliance and promoting safe driving.
Further broadening its ecosystem, EROAD revealed integrations with Whip Around and Fleetpal - enabling advanced defect management, engine diagnostics, and inventory tracking - bringing best-in-class maintenance workflows to users for seamless collaboration between drivers, managers, and workshops.
Relentless Focus on Product Innovation
EROAD announced the commercial launch of its flagship Cold Chain Assurance Solution in New Zealand, delivering FSANZ-compliant, end-to-end temperature traceability and audit-ready reporting for refrigerated transporters. This market-first solution allows customers to automate both RUC and cold chain compliance within a single ecosystem, amplifying efficiency and regulatory peace of mind.
Attendees previewed EROAD’s upcoming technology enhancements, including an all-new in-cab driver experience, fully customisable analytics and reporting, and next-generation real-time driver safety scorecards, set to launch in Q4. The latest in advanced video telematics, Clarity Edge, will soon offer 360-degree vision powered by new side and rear cameras, highlighting EROAD’s commitment to achieving industry-leading levels of driver safety and risk reduction.
“EROAD offers the most comprehensive and integrated telematics platform for fleets across Australasia and beyond, setting the benchmark for compliance, cold chain, and AI-driven fleet intelligence,” said Mark Davidson, Chief Product Officer.
A Premier Global Event for the Industry
With its expert panels, technology showcases, and growing representation of Australian operators, Fleet Day has become the ‘can’t-miss’ event for the region’s fleet, transport, and technology community. EROAD’s ability to bring stakeholders together, launch innovation, and demonstrate international scale cements its role as a technology leader in Australasia and a global telematics partner.
