Steven Newman: CEO

Steven brings a wealth of experience to EROAD after a long and successful association with Navman. In his roles as COO and CEO, Steven helped establish Navman as a leading international brand within the Marine Electronics and Consumer Car Navigation sectors, with annual sales in excess of NZD400 million.

Brian Michie: Manager Business Development

Brian is responsible for business development, communications and for stakeholder relationships. The company founder is an infrastructure economist with extensive experience in the transport, water, waste and telecommunications sectors. Brian has conducted considerable analysis into the HV industry and RUC system.

Peter Batcheler: Sales & Marketing

Peter leads the Sales and Marketing team. He was previously Managing Director of Steelbro, and CEO of Gough Transport Group, New Zealand’s leading supplier of parts and equipment to the heavy vehicle industry. 

Tony Warwood:South Island Sales Manager

Tony is South Island Sales Manager and has had 20 years in the heavy transport industry.  Tony also leads our in-field technical services team.

Bruce Wilson: Engineering Manager

Bruce leads the R&D group and is responsible for the technology and product development required to make EROAD a world leader in the area of heavy vehicle charging, AVL, telematics and mobile asset tracking. Bruce has worked locally and internationally on many wireless embedded projects for companies such as Nokia, Navman and Ubicom.

Jarred Clayton: IT Solutions Architect

Jarred leads the team responsible for the architectural design, integration, web services, database, and payment architecture. He has several years experience working in a range of industries in Australia, America, UK and more recently as a senior consultant at Fronde in New Zealand.

Sean Hope: IT Infrastructure

Sean Hope is a senior Java application developer involved in designing and implementing EROAD's J2EE software solutions. After earning his BSc Computer Science / Applied Mathematics at the University of Natal (Durban), he has spent the last 18 years in software development working in a range of industries including telecommunications and the financial sector, and has worked on projects in South Africa, Australia, Finland and the UK.

Matt McArthur: Internet Services

Matt looks after EROAD’s websites and is tasked with defining technical and customer requirements. Matt is responsible for Interface design and making sure EROAD users get the most from our software services. Matt has worked internationally as an Internet Application Designer and Web Developer.

Angela Gray: Lead Project Manager

Angela oversees all aspects of EROAD’s product development, release and launch. In this role Angela is responsible for co-ordinating EROAD’s internal team and external suppliers and for ensuring related commercialization tasks are planned, resourced and delivered. Previously Angela has delivered projects with global teams for Broadcast Map, Navman and Orion Health.
