GOVERNMENT APPROVALS

1. Ehubo and Tubo products approved by the Secretary for Transport to be an electronic distance recorder pursuant to the Road User Charge Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2009.  This means that trucks and trailers fitted with EROAD hardware are no longer required to have mechanical hubodometers fitted.

2. Ehubo and Tubo products approved by the Secretary for Transport to display an approved electronic form of RUC licence pursuant to the Road User Charge Amendment Regulations (No 2) 2009. This means that trucks and trailers fitted with the alternative hardware no longer have to display a paper RUC licence.

3. EROAD approved as INDUSTRY AGENT by NZ Transport Agency under which it provides road user charge licensing services.  This means that EROAD is legally able to use the NZTA logo and clients can purchase RUC online through EROAD web portal.
